On March 1, 2024, Green University, Uzbekistan, had the honor of hosting our Founder and CEO, Dr. Ammar Younas, for a guest lecture on “Harmonizing Technology with Nature: A Cross-Cultural Approach to AI and Environmental Sustainability.”
The session provided a platform to explore the dynamic relationship between technology and nature, focusing on how artificial intelligence (AI) can contribute to environmental sustainability. Dr. Younas engaged the audience in examining innovative methodologies and diverse cultural perspectives to achieve harmony between technological advancements and natural ecosystems.
A key highlight of the lecture was Dr. Younas’s introduction of the AI Governance International Evaluation Index (AGILE Index), a groundbreaking initiative developed in collaboration with esteemed institutions, including the Center for Long-term Artificial Intelligence (CLAI) and the International Research Center for AI Ethics and Governance at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The AGILE Index is designed to guide AI development toward ethical, accountable, and sustainable pathways, ensuring that innovation benefits both humanity and the environment.
