Ai Mo Lawyers Invited as Key Resource at FJWU’s International Workshop on AI in Academia

On May 15, 2025, Ai Mo Lawyers was invited by the Department of Law, Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Pakistan, to participate in their One-Day International Workshop on “Integration of AI in Academic Research.” The workshop was held in collaboration with ORIC and featured global experts on AI, law, and academic ethics.

Representing Ai Mo Lawyers, Dr. Ammar Younas delivered a session titled:
“Ethics, Responsible AI Use, and Data Privacy in AI-Assisted Academic Writing.”

The session tackled critical questions facing the academic world in the age of AI:

  • Can machines be ethical when ethics are shaped by culture?

  • Are students becoming prompt engineers rather than critical thinkers?

  • Should AI enhance academic equity—even if it compromises human skill?

Dr. Younas introduced a three-tier integrity model for AI-assisted writing and explored philosophical dilemmas such as the Trolley Problem reimagined for academic research.

We thank FJWU for recognizing Ai Mo Lawyers’ contributions to AI regulation, legal technology, and data privacy frameworks, and for fostering such a timely and interdisciplinary conversation on the future of academia.

Co-panelists included:

  • Dr. Jo Chitlik (Emory Law, Senior Fellow)

  • Dr. Shaheryar Naveed (FJWU, Dept. of Public Administration)

📍 Venue: MP Hall, Fatima Jinnah Women University
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM PST
