Dr. Ammar Younas Speaks at Pakistan’s First National Panel on AI Governance and Ethics – AI Festival 2025

Ai Mo Lawyers is proud to share that our Founding Partner, Dr. Ammar Younas, was invited to speak at the Opening Ceremony of AI Festival 2025, as part of a landmark session titled:
“AI Governance & Ethics – Developing Pakistan’s Framework.”

This high-level national panel—Pakistan’s first dedicated platform on AI ethics and governance—brought together distinguished experts in law, policy, and technology to initiate a meaningful dialogue on how Pakistan can develop an AI governance model rooted in constitutional values, legal plurality, and cultural ethics.

Dr. Younas’s remarks emphasized the urgency of moving beyond imported regulatory templates and toward a locally grounded, globally responsible framework. He called for a future-ready, culturally attuned approach to AI regulation that reflects Pakistan’s unique identity, traditions, and normative structures.

The panel was part of AI Festival 2025, organized by the Society 5.0 Initiative, a platform committed to responsible innovation and indigenous policy thinking.

Notable participants included:

  • Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer (Former Chief Justice, Federal Shariat Court)

  • Justice Mushir Alam (Retd)
